It seems like everything you hear on the news these days is discouraging information about the spread of the Coronavirus, COVID-19. If you and your family are healthy, you most likely want to keep it that way. One very important aspect of keeping yourself and your family safe during this time is to make sure that you wash your hands thoroughly and regularly. Every time you venture to the store or take another essential trip, you risk touching a contaminated surface. While you might be careful not to touch your face while you’re out and about, there is a chance that you still have the virus on your hands when you come back home. Any surface that you touch in turn could also get contaminated, so you might want to backtrack to clean those surfaces as well. Keeping your home clean is always beneficial, but during this time, it won’t hurt to be extra careful, especially if you or someone close to you is in a high-risk category.
