The good news is that a home inspection that includes thermal imaging can make it easy to identify potential issues creeping in your attic! For example, if the insulation in the attic has started to drift, has been damaged, or is uneven, an infrared camera can quickly locate areas where cool or hot air is leaking where it shouldn’t be. Or, there may be pests like wasps or squirrels burrowing through your insulation or chewing wires. Once these things are identified by thermal imaging, it’s that much easier to get them resolved.
