Wasps can disrupt your outdoor life. The types that you most commonly find around your home are either hornets, yellowjackets and paper wasps. Wasps, unlike bees do not feed on pollen, instead they are predatory, which is one reason why they easily become a problem for humans. They feed mostly on insects, but they can eat meat off of your plate, and they are also attracted to sweet drinks.
Wasp stings are especially dangerous for those with allergies, but their stings are very painful to anyone that is stung. They can also sting you multiple times, unlike a bee which will die after stinging you once.
If you are trying to remove a wasp’s nest, it is always better to do so at night, since they aren’t as active. You should wear protective clothing, and be ready to run if it goes wrong. There are many different types of pesticides you can use to kill wasps if necessary.
