The sun – we’ve all been waiting for it to come back after the winter, and most of us love the heat it provides. However, sometimes you might get too much of a good thing, especially inside your home. If you have many windows, you might experience the same effect a greenhouse does, with the inside air heating up quickly, costing you money in cooling. There is, though, something you can do to lessen the effect the sun has on the temperature inside your home, and that is to install window film. Window films can be acquired in rolls at many hardware or home improvement stores. You can choose between installing a permanent, semi permanent or a temporary film. Often. you will want to remove the film for the wintertime to benefit from the sun and save on your heating bill, so it might suit you better to get a film that can be removed at the end of the summer.
