Often the biggest issue you will run into when finishing an attic is temperatures. Since your attic usually isn’t insulated, temperatures in there can get quite extreme, so you will need to get it insulated against the elements. This is also why it is wise to install a system in the attic that is separated from the rest of the home. That way you can keep temperatures comfortable throughout your home without having to spend crazy amounts of money on heating and cooling the attic.
