If you like taking on Do It Yourself projects around the home, then you would definitely be able to replace a faucet. To be honest, there is only one major pitfall to be aware of, and that is forgetting to turn off the water supply. As long as you can remember that, there aren’t really too many big mistakes that you could make.
To remove the old faucet, you will need to get underneath the sink to get access to the mounting hardware. There will be two water lines attached that you have to remove, and then there will be two nuts that keep the faucet in place. There could possibly be another part to remove, and that is the lift rod that is attached to the stopper in the sink. Once all these things are removed, you can just remove the old faucet and install the new one, following these steps in reverse. Make sure you seal it up well with some silicone after you finish.
